The Podyjí National park

It includes the Dyje river where beautiful sceneries are formed by rocks, forests and hills.
The Podyji National Park takes up 62 km2 along the Dyje river, from Znojmo to the Vranov Dam (Vranov nad Dyjí). The park was opened in 1992.
A large part of the Podyji National Park is situated in the Českomoravská vrchovina mountain range, the eastern side of the park is in the Dyjsko-Svratecký mountain range. The Dyje river has a lot of bends and forms beautiful scenery.
The Podyji National Park is mostly forest (84%) with rocks and tributaries leading into the Dyje.
The Thayatal National Park connects to the Podyji on the border with Austria. For photos of the Podyjí see below.
